Our logo and what it means:

The Yin/Yang symbols represent the blending of the male and female energies. As a Taoist, we embrace the male/female energies within ourselves in order to become whole. The lines around the Yin/Yang represent the I Ching. The I Ching is an ancient method of divination. Originally, yarrow sticks of different sizes were cast to determine possible futures. The 8 sets in the symbol represent the 8 elements of the universe. The 8 sided octagon is also called the Pau Kua. In the Native American culture the 8 sides would represent the 8 sacred directions of a prayer wheel.
